STORE RUNNER/CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE Full time: Hours between 6am and 5pm Monday thru Friday, and 5am – 1pm Saturday (rotating) Ability to lift up to 80 lbs Pay: $16/hr with incentive pay when client's requirements are met We are seeking a Store Runner/Customer Assistance employee to work with customers at the retail portion of our client's business. This position is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity that reports to the Store Manager. In general, this position is taking care of customers' needs, both in person and on the phone, as well as stocking shelves and going to the warehouse to retrieve products that are not kept in the store (a few more details are below). There is a lot of diversity in this role! Essential Job Duties: - Assist customers by answering questions, giving them direction or advice in person or on the phone and take product orders
- Keep the store fully stocked, including labeling items and rotating product
- Take special orders and follow through to completion with the customer
- Data entry on a computer and cash register tasks, including providing customers with accurate change when doing a cash transaction
- Maintain a clean, dusted, and well-organized store
- Keep register area organized and supplied with bags, boxes, register tape, cash on hand, etc
- Help customers carry purchases to their vehicles

Requirements:
|
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach
- Good verbal and written communication, including English fluency
- Ability to use a computer, cash register, and make accurate change for customers
- Participate in and pass forklift certification training
- Hard-toe footwear and cold weather gear is required as you may have to walk into refrigerated/freezer areas
- Possess a valid driver’s license, as well as clean driving and financial backgrounds
- Background check
- Drug Test
