Production Technicians are needed on 2nd & 3rd shifts for an assignment at our client facility to produce, finish, inspect, package, and label parts. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Essential Job Duties include: - Reads written work instructions to operate injection molding equipment
- Removing parts from a machine
- Inspecting and cleaning up any edges using hand tools such as X-Acto knife, clippers, or pliers
- Assembles finished parts with or without additional non-molded components
- Assembles boxes for packaging
- Weighs and packages finished parts
- Provides backup assistance in production and/or assembly as assigned

Requirements:
|
- Experience with calipers and micrometers is a plus
- Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, and stand
- Must have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Have a good eye for detail
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- MUST be able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Pre-employment drug screening required
