Assembly & Packaging Operator

In this role, you will be a vital link in our supply chain, managing the machinery that takes finished cans from the filling line, packs them into boxes, stacks them onto pallets, and gets them ready for our eager customers.

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | $22.50 / hour

• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM | $23.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, monitor, and efficiently run automated packaging equipment, including cardboard packers, shrink-wrappers, and labelers.

• Quality Control: Maintain high standards by checking cans for leaks, ensuring proper seals, and verifying correct date codes on the fast-moving line.

• Supply Management: Keep the production line flowing smoothly by consistently feeding machines with necessary packaging materials.

• Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a spotless, organized workspace that meets strict food safety and cleanliness standards.

• Proactive Problem Solving: Quickly clear minor conveyor belt jams and perform basic machine adjustments to minimize downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand comfortably for long shifts and safely lift up to 50 lbs (approx. 23 kg).

• Sharp Attention to Detail: A keen eye for spotting minor product or packaging defects while the line is in motion.

• Rock-Solid Reliability: Because our production goals depend on teamwork, excellent attendance and punctuality are a must.

• Safety-First Mindset: Comfortable working around fast-moving automated machinery while strictly following all safety protocols.
