Flex-Staff is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for a temporary assignment with a respected manufacturing company in Manitowoc. This opportunity is expected to run from July through August, with the possibility of extending into September based on business needs.
In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility to support production, shipping, and receiving operations. Candidates should have previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and basic computer skills.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm
You will: - Safely operate a forklift while following all company safety procedures
- Move raw materials and finished products to support production schedules
- Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility
- Accurately locate materials and complete inventory transactions within the company system
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Recharge forklift batteries and/or change propane tanks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow quality standards and customer requirements at all times

Requirements:
|
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous forklift experience required
- Warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience preferred
- Ability to accurately read, count, weigh, and measure materials
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to pass a forklift safety assessment and demonstrate safe forklift operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Physical Requirements- Ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, lifting, and material handling
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
- Steel-toed footwear required
