Job Title: Temp to Hire Sewing Machine Operator NO WEEKENDS!
Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-4:30pm & Fridays 7:00am-11:00am
Length: Temp to Hire
Location: Appleton
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior sewing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Comfortable using computers
- Strong attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Move and lift up to 40 pounds
Responsibilities:
- Review prints and instructions for cutting and sewing patterns
- Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on industrial sewing machines
- Create patterns using industry-specific software
- Hand-cut a variety of materials across departments according to prints or patterns
- Operate heat cutter machines to cut materials based on prints or patterns
- Monitor inventory and submit order requests as needed
- Inspect finished products and adjust as required
- Prepare and package completed orders for shipment or delivery
- Move products using hand pallet jacks, hydraulic lifts, carts, or dollies
- Ensure orders are completed on time, including tracking time and materials
